Start with the equipment you already use
The best choice is the one that fits your morning. Ground coffee is convenient when you want to scoop, brew and get moving. Whole beans give you control over the grind, but you will need a grinder as well as your brewer. FLY LYFE offers both formats across its ten-coffee collection, so you can choose a coffee first and then select the format that works for you.
Choose ground coffee for a simpler routine
Our ground option is intended for drip brewing. It makes sense if you use a drip coffee maker and want fewer steps before your first cup. Follow your brewer’s instructions for the coffee-to-water ratio, then adjust a little at a time to suit your taste. A stronger cup can come from changing the amount of coffee; you do not have to change the roast every time.
If you use an espresso machine or a brewer with specific grind requirements, check those requirements before choosing a pre-ground bag. “Espresso” in a coffee’s name describes the coffee selection; it does not mean every ground option will suit every espresso machine.
Choose whole beans for grinding control
Whole beans let you grind the amount you need before brewing and adjust the grind for your equipment. That is useful if you switch between brewing methods or want to experiment. Start with your grinder and brewer recommendations. Change one setting at a time so you can tell what improved the cup.
Choose the coffee separately from the format
For a medium-roast blend, explore Breakfast Blend. For a blend of medium and dark roasted coffee, try Cowboy Blend. If you want a dark-roast option, compare 6-Bean Espresso and French Roast. Each is available as ground coffee or whole beans.
